Issue - meetings

RECOMMENDED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1072, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the relevant paragraphs of Part  3 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Leader proposed, seconded by the Executive Member for Sport, Culture and Recreation that because of financial sensitivity the Council go into Part II session and exclude the press and public. This was carried.

RESOLVEDthat under Section 100 (A) (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 that press and public be excluded from the meeting of the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of part 1 of schedule 12 A of the Act.

RECOMMENDED that, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1072, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in the relevant paragraph of Part 3 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Portfolio Holder for Sport, Recreation & Culture proposed, seconded by the Deputy Leader that because of the financial sensitivity and information relating to an individual the Council go into Part II session and exclude the press and public. This was carried.
