To approve as a correct record and sign the minutes of the previous meeting.

The minutes of the meeting held on 28 November 2017 were confirmed and signed as a correct record.

That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item(s) of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1,2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Committee considered a confidential report of Matthew Gregson of Anthony Collin Consultants, following the invitation for expressions of interest and subsequent interviews held on 14 December 2017.

Resolved

The Committee will make a recommendation in relation to the appointment of the Head of Paid Service at Council on 15 January, 2018.

The review of the Council’s Pay Policy would be considered at a future meeting of the Committee.
