To reduce the council tax liability of all households in receipt of council tax reduction for the financial year 2023-24 by an amount of (up to) £40.00 (£25.00 mandatory and £15.00 discretionary) and for any surplus funds, estimated to be in the region of £10,000 to be distributed in accordance with the Council’s Discretionary Discount and Exceptional Hardship policy.
