1.	Apologies Minutes: Apologies received from Cllrs Clarance and Rollason.
2.	Appointment of Chair Minutes: It was proposed by Cllr Evans and seconded by Cllr J Petherick that Cllr Hayes be elected Chair of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee for 2022/23. The vote was unanimous. RESOLVED that Cllr Hayes be elected as Chair of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee for 2022/23.
3.	Appointment of Vice Chair Minutes: It was proposed by Cllr Hayes and seconded by Cllr Evans that Cllr Goodman-Bradbury be elected Vice Chair of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee for 2022/23. The vote was unanimous. RESOLVED that Cllr Goodman-Bradbury be elected as Vice Chair of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee for 2022/23.

5.	Minutes PDF 78 KB To approve the Minutes of the Meeting held on 5 April 2022. Minutes: The Minutes of the meeting held on 5 April 2022, were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

PDF 1 MB Minutes: The Licensing and Regulatory Committee was asked to consider an application for a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence Extension for a Mercedes E220 vehicle registration KV09 WPK. The Committee noted the information provided by way of the report and written representations provided by the Applicant. In particular it noted that the vehicle’s MOT certificate expires on 26 April 2023 (with no advisories). The Committee was informed that the vehicle passed its annual taxi inspection test on 25 May 2022. The Committee was satisfied that the vehicle was in a good and sound condition and that public safety would not be compromised by the granting of the licence sought. Decision Accordingly, the Committee granted the 12 month Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence Extension as detailed in the report subject to the condition that the vehicle undergoes four monthly vehicle inspection tests due to the age and mileage of the vehicle.

PDF 2 MB Minutes: The Licensing and Regulatory Committee was asked to consider an application for a Private Hire Vehicle Licence for a Toyota Yaris vehicle registration WJ17 XRK. The Committee noted the information provided by way of the report and written representations provided by the Applicant. In particular it noted that the vehicle’s MOT certificate expires on 2 May 2023. The Committee was informed that the vehicle passed its annual taxi inspection test on 26 May 2022. The Committee was satisfied that the vehicle was in a good and sound condition and that public safety would not be compromised by the granting of the licence sought. Decision Accordingly, the Committee granted the 12 month Private Hire Vehicle Licence as detailed in the report.
