11/10/2023 - Urgent Decision - To allocate the additional budget required following a competitive tender exercise to procure a replacement baling machine at the Council’s waste transfer facility.

The decision was made following the Constitution under Section 7(a) Financial Procedures: Budget and Policy Framework, paragraph 1.4. Reason for Making an Urgent Decision - To enable an urgent funding decision to be made following the competitive procurement process returning higher than anticipated costs.

The decision enables the Council to meet the procurement timeframes in place, and to minimise the further loss of income from the issues with the existing baler.
