Urgent Decision - To allocate the additional budget required following a competitive tender exercise to procure a replacement baling machine at the Council’s waste transfer facility.

Following a competitive tender procurement exercise, the winning bid (also the cheapest bid) came in above the level of spend that can be authorised through an Executive Member decision.
The estimated spend requirement anticipated bids offering serviceable and warrantied reconditioned units as previously supplied at lower costs.
