To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 6 March 2018 (previously circulated).

Minutes of the meeting on 6 March 2018 were confirmed and approved and signed as a correct record.

The Leader thanked all the staff who worked hard to ensure that the waste and recycling service was kept operational during the recent spell of bad weather despite extremely challenging conditions.

The Chairman thanked the Neighbourhood Planning Officer who had recently delivered informative training session on the changes to the National Planning Policy Framework.

It was noted that Overview & Scrutiny Committee would consider a report on this matter at its next meeting.

To consider the Adoption/Making of Ogwell Neighbourhood Plan.

The Neighbourhood Planning Officer (AM) presented the report of the Adoption/Making of Ogwell Neighbourhood Development Plan. Members were informed of the results of the referenda on the Ogwell Neighbourhood Development Plan and to bring the Plan into force by making/adopting it as part of the Development Plan for the District. This would ensure that this neighbourhood plan formed a material consideration in the determination of planning applications for this parish.

The Executive welcomed and endorsed the adoption of the Ogwell Neighbourhood Development Plan.

RESOLVED

That the Ogwell Neighbourhood Development Plan be approved and be brought into force as part of the suite of Teignbridge Local Development Plan Documents as a material consideration in planning terms relating to the Ogwell Parish Area.

To note forthcoming decisions anticipated to be made by the Executive over the next 12 months.

Details were noted of the Forward Plan for the next 12 Months.
